Dog Training Classes at Animal Magic Dog Club

Gundog (Scurry)

Gundog (Scurry) - All classes are 60 minutes.  
Courses are held outdoors unless heavy rain then indoors.

The objective of this course is to channel the natural hunting skills of your dog so that you have control, fun and your dog will be able to compete in gundog scurries at local shows.
Dogs coming into this class must be at least 8 months old, and should have successfully completed our foundation course or they have done basic training elsewhere.
Your dog will learn whistle signals to sit and wait, to get used to gun shot, and to retrieve dummies by sight and scent. Only training dummies are used and no birds are shot.

We offer 3 levels of course:

• Bronze—for dogs who have done no gundog training.
• Silver— For dogs that have completed a bronze course and need to practice their skills.
• Gold—For experienced dogs who wish to practice their skills in a variety of situations.

Class size and cost
Maximum of 6 dogs in a class and 1 trainer .
Cost £80.00 for a 10 week course.
